Getmapping has released an updated version of Street Layer, its panoramic street-level photography product. Street Layer users can access high resolution, 360˚ street level photography from their desks, enabling them to undertake virtual site visits, providing immediate savings on time, budget and manpower resources.
The latest updates to Street Layer improve the overall usability of the imagery and also provide a range of new features:
- Users can now view, compare and measure 2 different years of imagery side by side.
- Users can now take and save a snapshot of the image they are viewing.
- The AddressBase search tool provides the ability to search for and view addresses at street level Improved GIS and Image loading times.
Available via an annual subscription, Street Layer makes the latest street level imagery available to users without the need for ordering new imagery. Users can access Street Layer imagery through Getmapping’s high-speed Online GIS. Alternatively imagery can be delivered and easily integrated into existing GIS applications via our Maps API.
