Getmapping is pleased to announce that it will be showcasing the latest in Mobile Mapping technology at the GeoDATA 2017 London Showcase event on 30 November 2017.
Getmapping has recently added the Leica Pegasus:Two Mobile Mapping System to their survey capabilities. The market-leading system enables the rapid and simultaneous collection of both high-resolution panoramic imagery and high-density point cloud data from a moving vehicle. The captured 3D geospatial data has far-reaching uses across numerous sectors including road mapping and navigation, waterways, emergency response planning, plus street, highways and utilities infrastructure and asset management.
As part of the seminar programme, Getmapping's Group Innovation Director Martin Tocher is presenting "Data For The Smart Generation: Aerial And Mobile Mapping". His presentation covers how data captured from aerial and mobile mapping surveys is fuelling innovation in companies, allowing the creation of smart applications, and includes a case study with Yellow Line Parking who are using point cloud data in the smart parking sector.
